The Role: Shaping the Future of Payments 🚀

Our team is making payments easier, faster, and more secure. We've built technology for mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) and secure, tokenized remote commerce payments (MDES). We process tens of billions of transactions yearly and are scaling MDES even further. We're focused on improving speed, reliability, and scalability while navigating global regulations and increasing demand. We're moving our applications from on-premises infrastructure to the public cloud, and we need your expertise to lead this transformation.

What You'll Do 🛠️

• Manage Scrum teams developing commercial Java-based, distributed, high-availability applications.
• Take product initiatives from requirements to production.
• Guide Scrum Masters, business analysts, developers, and testers to meet business objectives.
• Oversee the development and delivery of software solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business/Tech Operations, and stakeholders.
• Improve systems/processes to optimize delivery.
• Promote agile best practices.
• Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to your team.
• Communicate status/progress to various teams and senior management.
• Contribute to the software development guild's knowledge base.

What We're Looking For 🎯

• Experience managing development teams in a multi-team environment, including remote management.
• Experience applying Scrum or SAFe Agile in a product development setting requiring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Payments and fintech experience (advantageous for PCI DSS compliance).
• Experience with these technologies is a plus: Java/Spring, RESTful APIs, Cloud.
