What you’ll own

Creating detailed business plans to help reach goals and quotas.
Managing the full sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
Using a set sales method that lets you work through complex organizations to finish sales.
Finding new sales chances through networking and prospecting and then turning them into long-term partnerships.
Presenting solutions to potential clients.
Working hard to make sure customers are happy as their true technology partner.
Organizing resources to help customers develop and carry out their IT strategy.
Working with and building strong relationships with manufacturers (vendors) to jointly pursue end-user business.
Keeping up-to-date on professional and technical knowledge to give value to your client base.
Accurately predicting your business and keeping the CRM updated.
Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will start quickly with experience selling VAR (Value Added Reseller) and a book of accounts that you can manage, which is preferred.
Managed Service Provider (MSP): 3+ years, preferred.
Commercial Sales experience is preferred.
Technical skill and the ability to work in a technical setting, and able to talk with engineers.
Someone who likes hunting and cold calling, which is preferred.
Experience with consultative selling.
The ability to work in a technical setting and talk with technical people.
Have proven experience as a high-performing individual contributor selling managed and/or professional services.
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
Ability to build strong relationships.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail/excellent follow-up.
Proactively drive business.
Must professionally represent Lockstep Technology Group.
Be enthusiastic and passionate.
