Responsibilities
- Develop and adjust successful targeted territory development plans to help meet or surpass growth, revenue, and margin targets.
- Develop and manage all phases of the territory’s business development cycle, including managing proposal negotiations, the statement-of-work, and completion of all contract details.
- Show breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning Automat-it capabilities to client business and positioning relative to competitors.
- Prospect new customers and communicate with the AWS reps regularly.
- Maintain and develop strategic vendor relations with AWS.
- Regularly attend business events to promote and educate prospective clients on the benefits of Automat-it.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Operations, Delivery, and Solutions Architects.
- Commitment to regular business travel locally and abroad.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in direct IT sales and business development from a complex cloud or software solutions background.
- Experience selling IT professional services (consulting/managed/staff services) or SaaS solutions designed for R&D or DevOps teams.
- Ability to explain the value proposition of professional services to technical and business stakeholders.
- Proven successful track record of meeting and surpassing sales quotas.
- Experience with selling AWS-based solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working experience with Salesforce or Hubspot.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Network and relationships with Swedish-based digital native/ISV/startup companies.
- AWS cloud certificated is an advantage.
