The Role
We are looking for an Account Executive to drive Automat-it business growth in the EMEA north territory of Greenfield accounts while making sure there is a great customer experience. You will be responsible for the sales process, from prospecting to closing a deal.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute successful targeted territory development plans to help achieve or exceed growth, revenue, and margin targets.
- Develop and manage all phases of the territory’s business development cycle, including managing proposal negotiations, the statement-of-work, and completion of all contract details.
- Demonstrate breadth and depth of knowledge in matching Automat-it capabilities to client business and positioning relative to competitors.
- Prospect new customers and communicate with the AWS representatives regularly.
- Maintain and develop strategic vendor relations with AWS.
- Regularly attend business events to promote and educate prospective clients on the benefits of Automat-it.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Operations, Delivery, and Solutions Architects.
- Commitment to regular business travel locally and abroad.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience in direct Information Technology sales and business development from a complex cloud or software solutions background.
- Experience selling Information Technology professional services (consulting, managed, or staff services) or Software as a Service solutions designed for Research and Development or DevOps teams.
- Ability to clearly explain the value proposition of professional services to technical and business stakeholders.
- Proven successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience with selling AWS-based solutions.
- Network and relationships with Swedish-based digital native, Independent Software Vendor (ISV), or startup companies.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Working experience with Salesforce or Hubspot.
- AWS cloud certification is an advantage.
Location
- Work location is hybrid from Copenhagen with weekly visits to the AWS office.
