About the Role

As a Senior Sales Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients in the DACH region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, working with the BDR team to adjust outbound messaging, and upselling existing accounts. This position needs a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Drive revenue growth by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across enterprise and mid-market accounts in the DACH region.
  • Develop and adjust strategic account plans, identifying key stakeholders, business drivers, and growth opportunities to surpass quarterly and annual targets.
  • Work with the BDR team to refine outbound strategies, adjust lead generation, and make sure high-quality pipeline creation happens.
  • Build trusted relationships with CISOs, security leaders, and technical teams, positioning Mondoo as a strategic security partner.
  • Work across teams with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align go-to-market efforts, deliver customer value, and strengthen retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Use MEDDPICC method to accurately qualify deals, forecast pipeline, and maintain CRM hygiene for transparency and predictability.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and cybersecurity challenges to deliver consultative, insight-led conversations.
  • Represent Mondoo at industry events and conferences, driving brand awareness and building a strong professional network in the region.

What You’ll Bring

  • Five to ten years of sales experience. Experience selling into the cybersecurity market is a requirement, and ideally you have four or more years of that experience. Understanding our market and ICPs are key to your success.
  • You must be proficient in German and English. This is a firm requirement.
  • You have experience selling into large enterprise accounts in the DACH region and can clearly talk through your sales process.
  • You have a history of meeting and surpassing your quota and have the numbers to support it.
  • MEDDPICC experience is required.

At Mondoo, the company believes in an equitable and transparent interview process. Here is what you can expect (subject to change with notice):

  • Recruiter Screen: 30 minutes.
  • First Screen: 60 minute Google Meet with Matthias Nieraad.
  • Hiring Manager Screen: 60 minute Google Meet with Matthias Canisus.
  • Panel: 60 minutes. Attendees include those from Sales Leadership, Sales Engineering, Channel Sales, Executive Leadership.
  • Final call if needed.
