Responsibilities
- Sell B2B Freight Services to businesses across North America.
- Focus sales efforts primarily on Shipping Managers and Business Owners.
- Conduct 90% New Business Development initially, shifting to 50% New Business Development and 50% Account Management long-term.
- Perform 100% prospecting and cold calling to generate new business at the start.
- Manage accounts with strong potential for repeat business.
- Provide a one-stop shipping solution for B2B transportation needs.
Requirements
- Three or more years of sales experience selling similar 3PL logistics services.
- Experience in B2B cold-calling, prospecting, and lead generation.
- Possess a "Hunter" mentality with experience building a territory from scratch.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent telephone skills.
- Above-average computer skills and experience in digital prospecting.
- Ability to work with customers ranging from single annual orders to over 100 orders.
- Comfortable with a short sales cycle and strong opportunity for repeat business.
- No overnight travel required.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- A Business Degree is an asset.
- French language skills are an asset.
Salary
- $65,000 to $75,000 Base Salary.
- Competitive, uncapped residual commissions.
- Top performer earnings reach $400,000 and are still growing.
Location
- Head Office is in North York, ON.
- This is primarily a work-from-home position.
- Some office work is required during training.
- Sales Territory includes local (GTA), Regional, National, and International (USA).
