The Role

As an early go-to-market (GTM) Account Executive for Zensors, you will have the rare chance to affect the strategy of our new go-to-market team. You will be responsible for partnering with our highest potential retailers and airports to understand their needs and figure out what it takes to help them unlock greater usage of Zensors in their respective organizations. You will represent the ‘voice of the customer’ internally at Zensors, and have an opportunity to influence the direction of our product. We are looking for a strong Account Executive who can find business opportunities and manage customer relationships in a complex purchasing cycle. The goal is to find opportunities and turn them into long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction and eventually create the go-to-market playbooks that will ultimately be used by future sales hires as we shift our focus from early customers to scaling revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed business plans to help reach goals and quotas.
  • Promoting Zensors’ Enterprise products to new customers.
  • Reaching out to new trials or users within customers to expand use cases and drive more revenue.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from establishing a customer contact until signing a deal.
  • Find new sales opportunities and turn them into long-term partnerships.
  • Demo or present products to prospective clients.
  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs.
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming for customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation.
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales or customer service roles.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate.
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in business administration, sales, or marketing.
  • You obsess over providing a top-tier experience for your customers.
  • You are not only excited about winning new business, but also about designing repeatable processes that enable our GTM team to scale and succeed as we grow.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software is a plus.
