The Role: ๐Ÿ’ผ

As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for developing new business and nurturing existing client relationships within your territory to maximize sales opportunities. You'll showcase Tarkett's comprehensive portfolio of soft surface and resilient commercial flooring products, tailoring solutions to meet diverse customer needs and budgets.

Responsibilities: ๐ŸŽฏ

  • Gain a deep understanding of Tarkett's business strategy and goals.
  • Develop and prioritize your territory's account list based on sales potential and project size.
  • Actively prospect for new business through research, networking, and client relationship building.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify optimal product solutions, partnering with A&D and distribution sales teams to close deals and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, project, product, and pricing information in the CRM.
  • Consistently achieve financial and other performance objectives.
  • Develop and manage business plans with distributors and flooring contractors.
  • Create proposals that consider market pricing and available purchasing options (contracts, GPOs, buying agreements).
  • Review daily order entry, ensuring accuracy and timely shipments.
  • Provide regular sales and market updates to regional and territory leaders, including competitive analysis and progress toward KPIs.
  • Follow up on installations and conduct post-installation inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve customer quality issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement territory-specific promotions and merchandising programs.
  • Execute sales blitzes and product launches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (other AEs, marketing teams, customer service).
  • Represent Tarkett professionally when interacting with clients, contractors, and design firms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: ๐Ÿค”

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of sales experience.
