Responsibilities
- Seek out and prospect new client accounts to support company growth.
- Play a key role in developing chances to drive company growth through prospecting, networking, using social media, and referrals.
- Prospect for new clients using HubSpot and other lead-generating tools.
- Do lead-generating activities daily, such as cold calling, emailing, and networking.
- Help build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline to drive continuous immediate and long-term chances, by reporting sales activities weekly.
- Use professional sales techniques to target accurately and offer the right services to potential clients.
- Help with and attend company events related to sales and getting new business.
- Understand a prospect's business need and develop custom proposals and presentations, using the pre-sales architecture team when needed.
- Reach the set goals for new account development.
- Take part in other sales activities as assigned.
- Develop and maintain good business relations with potential clients and Centers of Influence.
- Complete tasks during the new client onboarding process, which includes ongoing internal training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, or an equal level of experience in a related field.
- At least five years of B2B sales experience. Field sales and technology sales are strongly preferred.
- Skills in verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to be self-motivated and take a "hunting" style approach.
- Team-oriented attitude balanced with the ability to work alone with little supervision.
- Must reside in the greater Boston, MA area to develop a local sales territory.

Job Summary
The Account Executive will develop new accounts across an assigned territory to support company growth. Reporting directly to the VP, Sales, this role will be able to represent IT Solutions to prospects and deliver solutions to solve their most complex business needs.
