About the Company

Our client is a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) seeking a results-driven Account Executive experienced in selling managed services or networking solutions within the SMB market. This role focuses on driving new recurring revenue through consultative selling, helping clients modernize, secure, and scale their technology environments. You will represent a trusted IT partner that helps clients modernize their infrastructure, secure their systems, and improve productivity through reliable, scalable managed services. These services cover Microsoft 365/Google Workspace application management, backup and disaster recovery, endpoint protection, and networking solutions, including Cisco Meraki and hybrid remote/on-premise setups. Supported by marketing campaigns, call lists, and experienced engineers, you will focus on prospecting, discovery, and closing, while making sure there is a smooth handoff to delivery and account management. This is a high-impact opportunity for MSP sales professionals who want a supportive, transparent environment where client satisfaction, teamwork, and long-term growth come first.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new business opportunities across SMB markets through outbound activities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities in the CRM.
  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover client pain points and match MSP solutions to business needs.
  • Deliver virtual presentations to C-suite and IT leadership.
  • Execute sales strategy with support from leadership and marketing.
  • Negotiate and close contracts that drive profitable, long-term client relationships.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and activity Key Performance Indicators.
  • Work with internal teams post-sale to transition accounts.
  • Stay current on industry trends, cybersecurity solutions, and managed IT offerings.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of managed services provider or networking solutions sales experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of managed IT services, infrastructure, and networking solutions is required.
  • Proven success generating net-new business and achieving or exceeding quota is required.
  • Experience using CRM tools, such as HubSpot or Salesforce, is required.

Salary

  • $80,000 to $90,000 base salary.
  • Uncapped Commission (First year On-Target Earnings of $150,000).

Location

  • Must reside within a 2-hour drive of Northern New Jersey.
  • Territory includes lower Hudson Valley, NY; Delaware, New Jersey, and Eastern PA.
