Responsibilities
- Develop and put into action a full sales strategy to find and create new business pipeline, beat revenue targets, and win new enterprise clients.
- Show a complete understanding of customer needs, challenges, and business goals to effectively present Upwindโs solution to C-level executives and technical contacts.
- Work closely with technical teams to make sure setup and integration are smooth to speed up how quickly clients see value.
- Lead and carry out full sales cycles with excellence in all stages: from pipeline creation and opportunity qualification to creating and delivering a measurable business case/return on investment justification.
- Work with and build trusted relationships with Upwind channel partners and the ecosystem to grow and make market reach better.
- Lead contract negotiations to the end and successful closing.
Requirements
- Proven history of driving and closing enterprise deals.
- Ability to effectively sell to both C-level executives and technical contacts in Cloud, Security, or DevOps.
- Consistent success in meeting quota and revenue targets with a strong W2 history.
- Familiarity and experience using proven qualification methods (for example, MEDDPICC) and a disciplined sales process.
- Maintain correct forecasting and reporting of the business to leadership and welcome a data-driven way of keeping Salesforce clean.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, collaborative, and able to adjust to keep up in a very fast-paced, rapidly changing, start-up setting.
- Strong understanding of cloud security ideas, technologies, and trends is preferred.
- Must be fluent in English (writing, speaking, reading).
