Responsibilities

The Account Executive position is a quota-carrying role. You will own the full sales cycle, from building relationships with key people involved in the decision to negotiation and contracts.

  • Have a full understanding of monday.com’s solution and connect this knowledge directly to customer return on investment (ROI).
  • Develop strategies and organize support from different teams to help customers get the most value from the monday.com solution.
  • Help our customers connect their goals and challenges with the solution on monday.com.
  • Act as the point of contact for relationship and commercial issues that need escalation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience in a closing role at a SaaS company; experience in project management and work collaboration space is preferred.
  • Experience owning a book of business, with a focus on upsells, cross-sells, and expansion opportunities is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • History of success and exceeding targets.
  • Experience handling complicated deals with multiple stakeholders, while keeping a strong consultative selling approach.
  • A driven self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • A collaborative, high-energy team member.
  • Able to effectively and consistently manage time, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowing other languages is a plus.
  • BA/BS degree is preferred, or the equivalent relevant work experience.

Location

This role is on a hybrid model requiring 3 times per week in our NYC office.

Salary (For New York City-based hires only)

  • Compensation Range: $85,000–$105,000 base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes.
  • In addition to base salary, the role includes the chance to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus and/or equity based on Company plans and policies.
  • Final compensation offered will match the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and other factors for those locations.
