πΌΒ The Role
TheΒ Account ManagerΒ is a key player in driving growth and fostering strong customer relationships. You'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve territory New Insurance Written (NIW) goals.
What You'll Do:
- π― Plan and put into action growth strategies to hit territory New Insurance Written (NIW) targets.
- π Maintain a regular communication plan to make sure all customer needs are addressed.
- π€ Develop a deep understanding of your customer's organization, including its structure and key decision-makers, to identify needs and propose solutions.
- π§ Gain a thorough understanding of your customers' Mortgage Insurance ordering process and build relationships with individuals influencing the choice of MI provider.
- π£οΈ Present Genworth's value proposition in a way that's clear and compelling, highlighting how it aligns with customer needs.
- π€ Collaborate with internal teams to solve customer issues and take ownership to ensure customer satisfaction.
- π Utilize Genworth's sales analytics and reporting tools regularly.
- π€ Actively contribute to weekly sales meetings and get ready for monthly territory reviews.
- π Effectively oversee the productivity and pricing structure of Onsite Underwriters.
- π€ Guide and mentor Account Executives assigned to your territory to boost new business and sales efficiency.
πͺΒ What We're Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
- πΌΒ 4+ yearsΒ of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
- π 4-year college degree or equivalent business experience.
- π― Demonstrated ability to consistently reach or surpass challenging production targets.
- π€ Ability to cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships across all organizational levels.
- π§ Ability to devise, communicate, and implement solutions to customer-related issues.
- π£οΈ Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- π€ Excellent presentation skills for both small and large (50+) audiences.
- π» Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- π» Preferred experience with Salesforce.com or a similar sales platform.
- π€ Strong negotiation, closing, and follow-up skills.
- π Ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Ability to work flexible hours and travel overnight regularly.

- πΌΒ 4+ yearsΒ of sales experience in the Mortgage or Financial Services industry.
- πΌΒ 2+ yearsΒ of Mortgage banking and/or mortgage insurance experience.
