Account Manager (Life Sciences) (m/f/d) in Austin, TX or Remote US

🚀 About the Role:

KNIME is searching for a revenue-driven Account Manager to join our growing life sciences team! This role can be based remotely anywhere in the US or in our Austin, TX office. You'll be the primary contact for key accounts, collaborating with our Solution Engineers and broader team to nurture relationships, understand client needs, and drive sales.

🎯 What You'll Do:

• Identify and expand existing customer relationships, aligning with KNIME's core values.
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
• Work with Solution Engineers and other team members to strategically engage clients.
• Understand client needs, assist with software demonstrations and evaluations, and negotiate contracts.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction.

• Proven Success: A strong track record of success in a software/tech company, working with enterprise accounts in the life sciences industry.

• Analytical Skills: You use data to inform decisions about time and resource allocation.
• Tenacity & Empathy: You're persistent but not pushy, credible yet empathetic.
• Location: Ideally based on the US East Coast for optimal team collaboration (though remote US applicants are welcome). Relocation assistance is not provided.
• Bonus Points: Understanding of life sciences data and R&D tools. A good sense of humor is always a plus!
