🧾 The Role

As an Accountant RtR (General Ledger), you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Fixed Asset Management: Reviewing fixed assets in progress, adding/disposing of assets, and managing depreciation.
• Journal Entries: Creating and processing journal entries, including those related to inventory.
• ICO Reconciliation: Identifying and resolving discrepancies in intercompany transactions.
• Cognos Reporting: Generating and analyzing reports using Cognos software.
• Account Reconciliation: Performing and documenting subledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• External Reporting: Contributing to audit, VAT, and Intrastat reporting.
• Transition Support: Helping with the preparation of GL process overviews during transitions.
• Team Collaboration: Supporting new team members through training.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seeking and highlighting ways to improve processes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Engaging with various stakeholders.

🔎 What We're Looking For

• Experience: A background in finance, ideally within a BPO/SSC environment, with a focus on General Ledger (GL) is preferred.
• Languages: Excellent English proficiency (both written and spoken).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
• Preferred Qualities: Diligence, reliability, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
