Georgia Military College's Global Online Leadership College is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Adjunct Faculty members to teach Biology courses in a fully online environment.

The Role

We're looking for individuals who can teach both day and evening classes, but we're open to applications from those with a more limited schedule. You'll be working on 8-week contracts, renewable based on class availability and strong performance.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver engaging online Biology courses.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback.
• Participate in online faculty meetings and professional development.
• Utilize a variety of online teaching tools and technologies.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Most teaching positions need a Master's degree or higher in Biology or a Master's degree (in any field) with 18 graduate semester hours or 30 graduate quarter hours in Biology. There are limited opportunities for those with a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree (in any field) and relevant professional experience. Check out our Certification Types below for more details.
• Experience: Teaching experience is a plus, especially in a remote or online learning environment.

Certification Types:

• AD-Certification Type-Advanced Degree in Qualifying Field: Master's level or higher in a related field listed in the Faculty Certification Guidelines (or approved by the Program Dean).
• AD+CH/5-Certification Type – Advanced Degree Not in Qualifying Field: Master's level or higher, but not in Biology, with 18 semester hours (or equivalent) and/or 5 years of relevant work experience in Biology.
• BD+7-Certification Type – Bachelor’s Degree + 7 Years of Relevant Work Experience: Bachelor's degree in Biology and 7 years of related work experience in Biology.
• BD+7-Certification Type – LSS ONLY: For LSS courses (000 Level), you need a Bachelor's degree in the related field. (Work experience isn't needed for these specific courses.)
