The Role 🤝 We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Aftermarket Sales Manager with a knack for new business development to join our team! Reporting to the Vice President of Aftermarket, you'll foster strong customer relationships, discover and pursue new opportunities, and contribute to the success of CPM Century Extrusion. This role includes 30-50% travel domestically and internationally and offers flexibility to work remotely or from an office, depending on your location.

What You'll Do 📝

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers, making sure they're happy and loyal.
  • Actively seek out new customers and opportunities for CPM's extrusion replacement spare parts and CX Extrusion services (including audits, repairs, and rebuilds).
  • Put in place effective customer communication strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Provide top-notch customer service to drive sales and profitability.
  • Share timely and accurate sales predictions to support company growth and investment plans.
  • Take an active part in company sales meetings to improve communication, understanding, and teamwork.
  • Create and submit weekly sales reports, expense reports, budgets, projections, and action plans to meet company requirements.

What We're Looking For 🔎

  • Hunter Mentality: Proven ability to find and close new business deals.
  • Technical Understanding: A strong grasp of industry principles and practices, especially in chemistry and engineering.
  • Sales Experience: At least 3 years of experience in industrial sales, with a preference for individuals who have worked in the aftermarket sector.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently.
  • Organization: Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and set priorities effectively.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Physical Demands:

  • Capacity to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-50% of the time.

Work Environment:

  • Typical office environment, with remote work choices.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or German.
