🚀 The Role: Analog Design Engineer, Staff

We're searching for a full-time A&MS Design Engineer to join our SERDES high-performance/high-speed design team.

This role centers around designing and optimizing mixed-signal circuits for the best possible power, performance, and area efficiency.

You'll apply your understanding of microelectronics from the transistor to topology levels, spanning schematics to layout, simulations to lab work. You'll also tackle all reliability aspects of a design.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Analog Design, test bench, and specification generation & documentation
  • Simulation of analog or mixed-signal circuits to confirm that performance, noise, timing, and power needs are met, including worst-case and/or statistical design verification and de-rating analysis
  • Layout coordination, follow-up, and validation
  • Ensuring all robustness and quality aspects for high production yield
  • Design review preparation & presentation
  • System-level usability
  • Collaborating with verification, process, test, and application engineering teams
  • Silicon correlation study
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers

💼 What We're Looking For

  • Education: A degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a specialization in Micro-electronics (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in deep submicron CMOS technologies.
  • Skills: The ability to make sound judgments when selecting efficient and robust methods and techniques to design and validate electronic circuits.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Collaboration: Teamwork abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving and organizational skills.

✨ Bonus Points (Preferred Experience)

  • 6+ years of related work experience in analog circuit design.
  • Experience in mixed-signal block design, ideally related to high-speed SERDES (Drivers, Receivers, Clocking, PLL, DLL, CDR).
  • Knowledge of design for porting across multiple foundry nodes.
  • Familiarity with custom analog layout techniques for signal integrity, high speed/performance and yield maximization, DFM mitigation, reliability, and Latch-UP/ESD.
