Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and respond promptly to security incidents.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
• Analyze security breaches to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and team members to enhance overall cybersecurity posture.
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and prepare IT audit plans.
• Make innovative recommendations for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and internal control.
• Actively participate in overall Internal Audit risk assessment and planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• 3-5 Years of experience.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and protocols.
• Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure.
• Experience in a cyber security internship or related position.
• Familiarity with IT-related processes, data, and systems.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Relevant certifications, for example: CompTIA Security+.
