Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond promptly to security incidents.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
- Analyze security breaches to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and team members to enhance overall cybersecurity posture.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and prepare IT audit plans.
- Make innovative recommendations for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and internal control.
- Actively participate in overall Internal Audit risk assessment and planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- 3-5 Years of experience.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and protocols.
- Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure.
- Experience in a cyber security internship or related position.
- Familiarity with IT-related processes, data, and systems.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Relevant certifications, for example: CompTIA Security+.
