Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services, APIs, and databases.
• Build systems that handle high volumes of requests and data in a way that can grow.
• Put in place security and data protection recommended approaches.
• Adjust application performance and fix problems.
• Work closely with front-end developers and other people involved to connect user-facing parts.
• Manage database structures, questions, and changes using SQL and/or NoSQL.
• Write code that is easy to read, keep up, and test.
• Take part in code reviews, system structure planning, and technical writing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or have similar work experience.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, Software Engineer, or in a similar job.
• Skill in at least one back-end language and framework: Node.js/Express, Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI), Java (Spring Boot), or Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience building and using RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of system design, how to make things grow, and security ideas.
• Experience with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab) and CI/CD setups.
