🚀 About the Role

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining web services for our growing Retail Media platform. You'll collaborate closely with engineers to connect e-commerce retailers and brands, enabling brands to purchase ad placements within our customers' search, browse, and recommendation results.

What You'll Do:

• 💻 Build, deploy, and support services using Python and FastAPI.
• ☁️ Write AWS CloudFormation scripts, Jenkins jobs, and GitHub Actions.
• 📊 Set up service observability, monitoring metrics, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, AWS CloudWatch).
• ⚙️ Implement CI/CD pipelines and stability testing.
• 🤝 Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners to develop and update functionalities.
• 🗣️ Communicate effectively with stakeholders.

🎯 What We're Looking For

• 🎓 Strong computer science background and networking knowledge.
• ⚡️ Experience with high-load, real-time service design, development, and maintenance.
• ☁️ Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• ⚙️ Hands-on CI/CD pipeline experience.
• 🐍 Proficiency in Python.
• 🌐 Experience in server-side web service coding and API design.
• 📊 Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty).
• 🤝 Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture and protocols like protobuf.
• 🗄️ Experience with NoSQL and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL, ClickHouse/Athena), distributed systems, and caching solutions.
• ☁️ Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• teamwork Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• 🗣️ Excellent English communication skills.
• ➕ Experience building ad tech solutions (Ideal).
