In this field position, you'll build relationships within the community, drive sales, and reach your goals while working independently. You'll interact with Humana's customers, business partners, and communities through in-person, virtual, and phone interactions. Your work will include grass-roots marketing, attending community sales events, and visiting potential customers in their homes.

🔑 What You'll Do:

  • Sell individual health plan products.
  • Educate beneficiaries about Humana services.
  • Interact with customers, partners, and the community.
  • Attend community events and visit customers in their homes.
  • Achieve sales goals and metrics.

💰 Compensation and Benefits

  • Total compensation package (base pay + commission with a guarantee) could exceed $120K, depending on experience and location.

🤝 What We're Looking For

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Daily face-to-face interactions with prospective members in the field.
    • Bilingual (Korean or Chinese and English).
    • Active health insurance license or ability to obtain it before starting.
    • Proficient with technology, including laptops, mobile apps, CRM tools, and sales/marketing resources.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
    • Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance (100/300/100 limits).
    • Minimum internet speed: 25 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload.
    • Dedicated workspace free from interruptions.
    • Residency within the assigned territory/county.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance license.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
    • Experience with TEAMS and PowerPoint.
    • Community engagement experience.
    • Medicare product sales experience.
    • Public speaking and presentation experience.

📅 Schedule and Training

  • Schedule: Meeting with members requires appointments and/or event times that may vary on evenings and weekends.
  • Training: The first three to four weeks of employment. Attendance is mandatory.

🗣️ Interview Format

  • You may be invited to participate in a Modern Hire/HireVue prescreen.
  • The prescreen will involve answering a set of questions over the phone and recording your audio responses.
  • It should take about 15 minutes.

Additional Information

  • Humana requires any associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English to take a language proficiency assessment to ensure competency.
  • Humana values personal identity protection and may ask applicants to provide their social security number if it's not already on file.
  • This role is part of Humana's Driver Safety Program.
  • Associates working from home in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive a bi-weekly internet expense payment.
