🚀 The Role:


As Business Development Manager, you'll be a key player in driving our growth, focusing on Integrated Drug Discovery (IDD) opportunities. This involves leveraging our entire Eurofins Discovery service portfolio to land complex deals.


🎯 What You'll Do:


  • Hunt for and close significant deals (>$100K).
  • Be the main point of contact for clients, guiding them through complex projects.
  • Manage your territory, forecasting sales and supporting all Eurofins Discovery services.
  • Cultivate existing accounts and develop new ones.
  • Expand existing contracts by offering additional services.
  • Boost business growth through client visits, presentations, workshops, and networking.
  • Spot opportunities to expand into chemistry, in vitro biology, safety, and translational biology.
  • Share best practices with internal teams and clients.
  • Report regularly on IDD opportunities.
  • Analyze existing and potential accounts.
  • Research target markets and pursue leads.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competition in the IDD space.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior management, R&D, Operations, Sales, and clients.
  • Promote Eurofins' vision.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Adapt your schedule to meet client deadlines.
  • Adhere to EHS requirements.

👩‍💼 What We're Looking For:


  • Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in drug discovery markets, focusing on small molecule discovery and development—in sales, marketing, business development, or R&D.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of IDD and its constituent platforms.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation abilities, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure. Ability to mentor junior team members is a plus.

➕ Bonus Points:


  • Advanced studies in Cellular/Molecular Biology or Biochemistry.
  • Prior experience in IDD sales or familiarity with customer requirements.

✈️ Travel: Up to 40%, including overnight trips and weekends.
