πŸ“ We're looking for Campus Staff Ministers in Edinburgh, TX and San Antonio, TX. If you're interested in other locations, please indicate your preferences in the application.

⏰ This part-time position can work between 10-29 hours per week.

πŸš€ Campus Leadership:
  • Communicate and embody InterVarsity's vision of transformed students, renewed campuses, and world changers.
  • Foster a culture of dependence on God and bold expectation for new witnessing communities.
  • Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences.
  • Set annual goals for growth, including conversions and leadership development.
  • Develop and execute ministry plans to achieve these goals.
  • Mobilize students and faculty to engage their networks with the gospel.
  • Supervise Ministry Interns and Campus Ministry Interns, as delegated.

  • Create ways for students and faculty to encounter and follow Jesus.
  • Equip students and faculty to think strategically about campus engagement and proclaim the good news of Jesus.
  • Disciple students and faculty, equipping them to hear the Word, respond actively, and grow in Christlikeness.
  • Invite, coach, and equip students and faculty to become effective leaders.
🀝 Organizational Collaboration:
  • Partner with and respond positively to the direction of supervisors and national leaders.
  • Contribute to collaborative and productive team meetings and relationships.
  • Affiliate chapters and submit Graduating Student Forms to strengthen partnerships.
  • Use national ministry resources and tools as requested.
  • Complete reporting, planning, and review requirements in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all InterVarsity policies and procedures.
🀝 Ministry Partnership Development:
  • Raise 100% of the assigned financial budget.
  • Communicate regularly with ministry partners, nurturing relationships through visits, phone calls, emails, and prayer letters.
  • Develop ongoing partnerships with alumni and volunteers.
  • Comply with Ministry Partnership Policies.
  • Identify and invest in advocates to build networks of volunteers and donors.
  • Accomplish all other assigned tasks as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Annually affirm InterVarsity's Statement of Agreement, Code of Conduct, Human Sexuality Theological Paper, and Women in Ministry Statement of Affirmation.
  • Bachelor's degree for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus; Associate's degree for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or community college.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
  • The CSM position leads ministry in a college campus environment.
  • A designated office space may or may not be available.
  • Travel to on-campus and off-campus sites is required, including student ministry conferences, Ministry Partnership Development meetings, and InterVarsity training sessions.
  • The CSM communicates with others and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Compensation & Benefits

  • This position is funded through personal fundraising.
  • Compensation will vary based on the individual's ability to secure a donor team.
  • The anticipated salary range for a full-time position (40 hours/week) is $33,900 - $45,204 per year.
  • The actual salary received, including geographic adjustments, is subject to the individual's ability to raise funds.
