Responsibilities
Create and put into action a complete channel sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Build and keep strong, long-term relationships with channel partners, making sure their needs are met and they are fully involved with the products and services.
Give partners the training, resources, and support they need to sell the solutions effectively.
This includes running regular training sessions, webinars, and giving out current marketing materials.
Work with partners to create joint business plans, including setting goals, defining strategies, and setting KPIs to track progress and performance.
Do market research to find potential partners and chances for growth.
Stay informed about industry trends, the competitive situation, and new technologies.
Drive sales through channel partners by finding new chances, creating sales incentives, and managing the sales pipeline.
Watch and report on sales performance against goals.
Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support, to make sure channel efforts are aligned and supported.
Negotiate partnership agreements, terms, and conditions for arrangements that benefit everyone.
Track and report on key performance numbers, giving ideas and suggestions for making things better continuously.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in channel sales or partner management in the tech industry, preferably in data security or cybersecurity.
Strong understanding of channel sales strategies and partner ecosystems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills.
Proven ability to reach sales goals and drive revenue growth.
An analytical way of thinking, able to use data to make choices.
Very organized with strong project management skills.
Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and go to industry events.
