As a Channel Partner Manager in Japan, you will play a central role in speeding up our effect through a strong ecosystem of partners. This role will be key in growing Monday.com’s partner ecosystem by bringing on board, developing, and managing relationships with Cloud Native partners and regional System Integrators.

You will be responsible for building ways to go to market that can grow, making partners successful across our solution offerings, and speeding up partner-led service development. A main focus will be on growing through channels and enabling broad reach through new and existing partners with proven experience working with Software as a Service solutions.

This is a very collaborative role that involves working across teams, needing strong business knowledge, a strategic way of thinking, and the ability to influence at all levels of the partner and internal organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage partnerships, working closely to bring on board and grow Cloud Native and industry specialized partners who have experience with SaaS solutions.
  • Build and carry out joint business plans with partners focused on:
    • Scale strategy
    • Pipeline creation
    • Solution enablement and skill level
    • Service capability development
    • Growth across multiple product solutions
  • Work closely with partners to guide and support their recruitment, onboarding, and enablement.
  • Increase partner readiness and ability to resell and deliver Monday.com solutions.
  • Work with the Marketing team and partners to drive joint marketing activities, such as webinars, whitepapers, and campaigns.
  • Partner with internal teams to support the development of partner-led services and apps that match customer needs and go-to-market strategy.
  • Keep up and report an accurate partner activity and deals pipeline forecast.
  • Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews and executive-level check-ins with partners to track progress and adjust strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development, ideally within a cloud or SaaS setting.
  • Demonstrated success working with cloud native partners and or distribution with expertise in selling SaaS solutions.
  • Strong understanding of partner business models, Key Performance Indicators, and go-to-market frameworks in the Japanese channel ecosystem.
  • Native-level Japanese speaker with business-level English proficiency.
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence at the executive level, both inside the company and externally.
  • Strong execution and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects and partnerships at the same time.
  • Collaborative mindset with a history of leading across teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience selling cloud SaaS solutions.
  • Direct sales experience.
  • Experience designing or giving partner enablement and training programs.
  • Background in growing partner-led service practices or industry-specific solution offerings.
