📅 Job Summary

MSI seeks a Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) Advisor to support USAID/Mission's CLA and knowledge management activities. This senior role leads tasks including synthesizing learning information, convening review workgroups, and collaborating with USAID and partners to identify data needs and share program objective-related lessons. This remote position can be based anywhere globally, with preference given to time zones facilitating communication with Afghanistan and the US East Coast.

💼 Responsibilities

  • Help develop, refine, and implement a robust learning agenda for USAID and its partners.
  • Analyze M&E work and advise on CLA policy.
  • Monitor progress toward learning agenda objectives.
  • Facilitate CLA activities (workshops, information sharing) with local and international partners.
  • Support study design, providing evidence on best practices and lessons learned.
  • Oversee compilation and dissemination of information from M&E data and stakeholder feedback to various stakeholders using user-friendly formats.
  • Build capacity in program M&E, data management, and CLA methods for staff and stakeholders.

🚀 Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in international M&E, CLA, knowledge management, and research for large donor-funded programs (USAID preferred).
  • Master's degree in international development, quantitative research, statistics, organizational development, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in M&E, including supervising data collection.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relations with donors, NGO partners, and international agencies.
  • Expertise in facilitating learning events and interpreting data for clients.
  • Experience in Afghanistan or conflict environments strongly preferred.
  • English fluency required.
