Responsibilities
- Assess and manage cargo carriage risks to prevent damage or legal exposure.
- Develop procedures and deliver training to reduce incident likelihood.
- Handle and investigate cargo incidents to minimize financial and legal impact.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (agents, lawyers, surveyors).
- Negotiate moderate-scale claims and pursue recovery from liable third parties.
- Prepare reports and insights for management decision-making.
Requirements
- Academic education: LL. B – a must.
- Experience and ability to write in a legal manner – a must.
- Experience in law of torts – a must.
- High level of English language (Speaking, reading and writing).
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience in insurance.
- Negotiation skills.
- IT oriented.
