π€ The Role:
This is a full-time, remote Clinical Supervisor position within our Post Release Services (PRS) program, based in Maryland. You'll work 40 hours a week, five days a week.
What You'll Do:
- πΌ Case Management: Manage a small caseload of home studies and post-release services as needed.
- π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ Family Support: Assess, identify, and recommend support, resources, or information to meet children's needs and ensure a safe environment.
- π€ Collaboration: Connect families with services, providing guidance on trauma-informed crisis intervention.
- π Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records, complying with program regulations.
- Supervision: Supervise staff providing home studies and post-release services, overseeing the department for Level III cases.
- π Reporting: Gather and report progress on expected outcomes, implementing improvement strategies.
- βοΈ Travel: Travel domestically to conduct in-person visits and meetings.
- π¨ Mandated Reporting: Report abuse/neglect to child protective services and law enforcement as required.
- ε’ιεδ½ Teamwork: Collaborate with local resource providers to support children and their sponsors.
- ηη₯ Strategic Planning: Evaluate staff recommendations on sponsor care and ensure ongoing human trafficking screenings.
- εθ° Coordination: Assist with scheduling interviews, home visits, caseload management, and staff travel.
- εδΈ Participation: Participate in training, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
πͺ What We're Looking For:
- Education & Experience:
- Master's degree (MSW or equivalent in psychology, sociology, or behavioral science) + 2 years of direct service experience; OR
- Bachelor's degree (in one of the aforementioned fields) + 6 years of clinical experience.
- Licensure: Licensed to provide clinical supervision (compliance with state licensing rules for cross-state supervision required).
- Expertise: Knowledge of family preservation, kinship care, trauma-informed care, child welfare policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience: Experience conducting home studies, providing post-release services, and working with immigrant populations.
- Language: Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems. Valid driver's license.
