The RoleΒ π
This new, fully remote position (based in Bulgaria or Greece) focuses on the South Balkan region (Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Albania). You'll provide clinical and technical support for our full range of hearing implant products (hardware and software) to clinics, distributors, B2B partners, and patients. Youβll work closely with the Business Development Manager and local distributors to expand market opportunities and establish Cochlear as the preferred brand.
What You'll DoΒ π οΈ
- Provide clinical and technical support (onsite, phone, online) to distributors and clinical professionals, including device activation, fittings, troubleshooting, surgical support, and answering queries.
- Build strong relationships with distributors and healthcare professionals (ENT Surgeons, Audiologists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists).
- Conduct regular customer visits aligned with sales and marketing strategies.
- Manage complaints effectively, following internal reporting procedures and providing feedback.
- Support customers throughout the hearing implant process (patient selection, referrals, reimbursement, rehabilitation).
- Deliver on-site and online training on Cochlear products and services, including new product introductions and training on surgical procedures and sound processor fitting.
- Develop and adapt training materials according to Cochlear's guidelines.
- Participate in professional development, including Cochlear's training program, industry conferences, and relevant courses.
What We're Looking ForΒ π
- Degree in Audiology (or related field like Acoustics, Speech Pathology, Biomedical Engineering, or Natural Sciences).
- At least 5 years of work experience. Experience in the medical device industry or with hearing-impaired individuals is a plus.
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Fluency in Greek or Bulgarian and English (written and spoken).
Region-Specific Needs:
- Significant travel within the South Balkan region (approximately 60%) and occasional international travel (10-20%).
