Cloud Developer (intermediate/junior)

About the Role 💼

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading telecommunications company at the forefront of digital TV and streaming services in Portugal. As a Cloud Developer, you'll be a key player in the TV Services department, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience. This is a remote position based in Portugal.

What You'll Do 🎯

• Develop applications in Python on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), focusing on serverless APIs.
• Design and implement REST APIs.
• Create and maintain Airflow operators and sensors.
• Manage artifacts effectively.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Work with Data Engineering tools and best practices, primarily BigQuery.
• Adhere to best development practices, including testing, code reviews, and version control.
• Utilize Git and GitHub proficiently.

What We're Looking For 🔎

• Required Skills: Knowledge of application development in Python on GCP (serverless APIs), REST APIs, Git/GitHub, and basic CI/CD principles. Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts and BigQuery is essential.
• Preferred Experience: Experience with Airflow, artifact management, and robust testing methodologies is a plus.
