The Role 🎯

As a Contract PSM & RMP Consultant, you'll be a key player in our Environmental Consulting team, assisting clients with OSHA and EPA regulated facilities. You'll be responsible for managing, coordinating, and implementing all fourteen elements of the Process Safety Management (PSM) standard and the EPA’s Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements. This is a remote, contract position, requiring you to have other clients (J.J. Keller cannot constitute more than 50% of your annual revenue).

What You'll Do 📝

• Conduct PSM and RMP compliance audits.
• Facilitate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
• Proficiently read and understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Participate in PSM incident investigations (as requested by clients), including root cause failure analysis.
• Provide excellent communication (verbal and written), maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Travel to client facilities as needed.

What We're Looking For 💪

• Required: 5+ years of relevant experience; knowledge of OSHA’s PSM and EPA’s RMP regulations; teamwork skills; ability to work collaboratively; project professionalism; excellent verbal and written communication; customer service orientation; ability to prioritize tasks; ability to work independently; dependability and self-motivation.
• Preferred: Formal PSM 1910.119 training; PSM Auditor Certification; computer proficiency.

Compensation: $100.00 to $130.00 per hour (depending on experience and location).
