The Role:Β πŸ“ž


This is a work-from-home position in a call center environment, handling inbound and outbound calls. You'll engage patients in friendly conversations, anticipate their needs, and provide clear, helpful information. You'll also act as a patient advocate, resolving issues and identifying areas for improvement.


What You'll Do: 🎯


  • Provide comprehensive support to Geisinger patients, addressing billing, insurance, and regulatory questions.
  • Manage accounts receivable functions, including cash collection, account resolution, discount application, and installment plan management.
  • Verify self-pay account status and insurance billing as needed.
  • Manage undeliverable patient statements while ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate revenue management activities and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Educate patients on billing, insurance, and regulatory matters.
  • Support the integration of new mergers and acquisitions into billing systems.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and internal regulations.
  • Proactively identify and suggest improvements to processes.
  • Complete assigned reports and projects.

What We're Looking For:Β πŸ‘


  • Required:Β High School Diploma or GED, minimum 1 year of related work experience.
  • Preferred:Β Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
