The Role:Β π
This is a work-from-home position in a call center environment, handling inbound and outbound calls. You'll engage patients in friendly conversations, anticipate their needs, and provide clear, helpful information. You'll also act as a patient advocate, resolving issues and identifying areas for improvement.
What You'll Do:Β π―
- Provide comprehensive support to Geisinger patients, addressing billing, insurance, and regulatory questions.
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including cash collection, account resolution, discount application, and installment plan management.
- Verify self-pay account status and insurance billing as needed.
- Manage undeliverable patient statements while ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate revenue management activities and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Assist in identifying and implementing technical solutions to meet business needs.
- Educate patients on billing, insurance, and regulatory matters.
- Support the integration of new mergers and acquisitions into billing systems.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and internal regulations.
- Proactively identify and suggest improvements to processes.
- Complete assigned reports and projects.
What We're Looking For:Β π

Required:Β High School Diploma or GED, minimum 1 year of related work experience.

Preferred:Β Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
