The Role: Patient Advocate Representative I

As a Patient Advocate Representative I, you'll be a key member of our call center team, providing exceptional customer service to patients. You'll handle reorders, resolve issues, and ensure accurate billing. You'll be the voice of CCS, helping patients navigate their care and exceeding their expectations.

Responsibilities 💼

• Obtain and process authorizations for reorders.
• Resolve patient issues and ensure accurate reorder processing (phone, documents, medical records).
• Verify patients have necessary medical documentation for billing.
• Maximize patient retention through proactive outreach and cross-selling.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls from patients, physicians, and referral sources. Address concerns, add services, and explain insurance coverage.
• Audit supply configurations based on documentation, formulary requirements, and manufacturer capabilities.
• Maintain a strong understanding of medical documentation, insurance requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality due to access to sensitive patient information.
• Maintain consistent attendance and flexibility to meet departmental needs.

Qualifications ✅

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills (strong keyboarding, data entry, listening skills).
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional phone and email etiquette.
• Evening and weekend availability may be required.
