👋 About the Role:
Join our Global Markets Operations Engineering (OE) team! We're a group of passionate software and data engineers focused on automating processes across the bank. This is a fantastic opportunity to help other teams ditch time-consuming manual tasks by using data in innovative ways and building automated tools to reduce human intervention. Projects range from quick reporting to longer automation projects, using a variety of technologies. You'll work across different business areas within an investment bank, collaborating with various teams (sales, traders, data scientists, IT developers, project managers, business analysts).
🚀 What You'll Do:
- Maintain and debug our existing codebase.
- Work with business and IT teams to understand current systems.
- Analyze existing architecture and data processes.
- Design and develop automated models to replace existing processes.
- Create prototypes (usually using Python and PowerBI).
- Collaborate with IT teams on prototype implementation and deployment.
💪 What We're Looking For:

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a similar Engineering field.

5+ years of experience in software development or a related area.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Proficiency in Python (other languages are a plus).
- Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle).
- Experience with Requirements Engineering.
- Experience with Stakeholder Management.
