🕵️‍♀️ Data Quality Analyst

To ensure compliance with the European Central Bank Regulation (BCBS 239), BNP Paribas Group has put in place a global framework to monitor the quality of data used for regulatory reporting. BNP Paribas Wealth Management is looking for a Data Quality Analyst to join its team in Lisbon, Portugal.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of overall data quality for Wealth Management and for setting up dashboards to track key data quality indicators. This is a central role in the Wealth Management Data Quality community, offering a fantastic opportunity to work with experts across the BNP Paribas Group, in an international environment.

What You'll Do

  • 📊 Monthly Dashboard Production and Analysis: You'll produce and analyze monthly data quality dashboards, identifying new issues and performing initial analysis and diagnosis.
  • 🚀 Implementation of Data Quality Initiatives: You'll support the implementation of data quality initiatives and remediation plans across Wealth Management globally, collaborating with a network of data quality analysts within each function.
  • 🤝 Data Quality Meetings and Committees: You'll assist the Senior Data Management Officer in preparing data quality meetings and committees.
  • 🛠️ Technical Maintenance: You'll ensure the technical maintenance of data quality tools, including settings and documentation, and extend the data quality setup by creating additional controls for new data and expanding the setup to additional countries.
  • 📚 Documentation: You'll keep documentation related to data quality up-to-date, including data dictionaries, defaulting rules, and controls dictionaries, in partnership with Wealth Management experts in Credit, Risk, Finance, and ALMT.

What You'll Need

  • 💼 Banking Experience: 2+ years of experience in the banking industry, working in Finance, Credit, Risk, or Control.
  • 🗣️ Language Skills: Fluent in English (French is a plus).
  • 💻 Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau Desktop) is a plus.
  • 🤝 Collaboration: Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • 💪 Personal Qualities: Organized, rigorous, analytical, and adept at problem-solving and project management. Strong team spirit.
