The Data Science Team

The Data Science Team within Customer Success is a vital part of our organization. We work closely with our clients, leveraging critical thinking skills and a business-focused mentality to provide top-notch support. We're dedicated to delivering best-in-class risk prevention solutions and are passionate about fighting financial crime.

What You'll Do

• Understand and clean client data, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Preprocess data using a combination of shell scripts and programming languages like Python, Java, and Scala.
• Iteratively compute features and tune parameters to optimize model performance.
• Communicate findings to project managers and assist in decision-making.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including data scientists, engineers, and risk managers from our clients.
• Work across departments to improve processes, best practices, and tooling.

What You Need

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• Expertise in Machine Learning (training, testing, overfitting prevention).
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Spark, Hadoop.
• Proficiency in bash, Python, and either Java or Scala.
• Understanding of resource monitoring and runtime optimization (JVM and OS level).
• Experience with statistics or data visualization is a plus.
• Knowledge of tree-based algorithms (Random Forests, XGBoost, LGBM) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Deep Learning algorithms is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey findings.

We provide education, configuration, solution development, and risk strategy to help them address their challenges. Our collaborative approach ensures clients receive the right solution, a tailored training plan, and ongoing support throughout their journey with Feedzai.

You'll be welcomed into the Feedzai family with comprehensive training, networking opportunities, and one-on-one time with your manager. You'll have the chance to shadow colleagues virtually or at an office (depending on your location) and gain access to a wealth of information about Feedzai and the team.
