🚀 The Platform Squad:

The Platform Squad in our Tech Department is key to Ankorstore's retail revolution. We're a cross-functional team supporting everyone at Ankorstore, acting as internal consultants and creating company-wide solutions.

⚙️ What You'll Do:

• Automate processes using GCP, Kubernetes, Istio, FluxCD, and the LGTM stack to minimize manual work.
• Collaborate with product teams to solve technical challenges, design new systems, and improve scalability, observability, and alerting.
• Participate in on-call rotations (daily rotation) to handle incidents and ensure operational excellence and high availability.
• Work with the Platform Squad to provide essential services, improving platform reliability and performance.
• Lead initiatives to reduce ongoing toil and focus on strategic improvements.

💻 Ankorstore Tech Stack:

• Front-end: Vue.js, Typescript, Vuex, sass, webpack
• Back-end: Golang, PHP 8.1, Laravel 9
• Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, Istio, Envoy, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch
• Tools: Github, CircleCI, LGTM-Stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir), Sentry, Notion, Tanka/Jsonnet

✅ What We're Looking For:

• At least two years of professional experience in cloud computing environments (GCP preferred).
• Kubernetes experience.
• Coding ability (Go preferred), and a good understanding of cloud deployments, containerization, and orchestration.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including GitOps (especially FluxCD), Kubernetes Operators, and the Grafana stack.
• Proactive teamwork, open-mindedness, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a dedication to improving technical and customer service skills.
• Fluent English, strong problem-solving skills, and creative thinking.
