The Role We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our team in Berlin and help us optimize our marketing campaigns.

What You'll Do

  • Develop statistical and machine learning models to assess and optimize marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze and interpret data to spot ways to improve marketing strategies.
  • Use uplift modeling methods to target specific customer groups and maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to understand business goals and translate them into analytical tasks.
  • Create and present reports on analysis results and suggest ways to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Evaluate and constantly improve analytical and modeling methods based on the latest Data Science trends.
  • Help develop and implement systems and tools to automate analytical processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Over 2 years of experience in Data Science, with a focus on uplift modeling and causal effect analysis.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Python and data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), as well as specialized libraries for causal analysis (e.g., CausalML).
  • Understanding of A/B testing principles, including planning, running, and analyzing test results.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases, including ClickHouse, for efficient data extraction and processing.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Apache Spark and Apache Airflow for handling large datasets and workflow automation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform, for scaling and managing analytical solutions.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices, experience with model versioning, and understanding of MLOps principles.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a similar field.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical experts and business stakeholders.
