The Role:

As Director of Demand Generation, you'll spearhead Tithe.ly's growth strategy, overseeing user acquisition, activation, and upselling to expand our impact. You'll lead a team, manage our digital ad agency, and execute data-driven marketing campaigns. Close collaboration with the Director of Corporate Marketing ensures alignment between growth and brand strategy.

Responsibilities:

🚀 Top of Funnel Demand Strategy:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with Tithe.ly's mission, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Manage our digital advertising agency, ensuring results from paid advertising efforts.
  • Oversee and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (SEO, paid digital advertising, social media, inbound marketing, email) to generate leads.
  • Boost organic traffic and qualified leads through SEO optimization, website improvements, and content collaboration.
  • Create and manage demand generation budgets and forecasts.

📈 Conversion Funnel and Website Optimization:

  • Improve conversion rates at every stage, from search results to demo requests, through engaging content and user experience optimization.
  • Continuously test new channels and run A/B tests to enhance channel efficiency.

🤝 Organizational Development and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of marketing professionals, setting clear goals and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience teams to align demand generation efforts with company objectives.

⬆️ Upsell and Cross-sell of Existing Customers:

  • Oversee lifecycle marketing, driving new customer acquisition and expansion through email marketing, sales follow-up, and list maintenance.
  • Partner with the Growth team to create and execute in-app cross-sell campaigns.
  • Run online and offline campaigns to promote other Tithe.ly products and brands.

📊 Reporting and Analytics:

  • Work with Marketing Operations to establish reporting cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly) on KPIs and integrated campaigns. Support lead nurturing and lead scoring models.
  • Analyze and report on campaign results, including site traffic, conversion rates, free trial starts, new customers, and expansion customers, attributing ROI to each campaign.
  • Implement and improve multi-touch attribution models to optimize the customer journey and campaign ROI.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience in demand generation, focusing on user acquisition, activation, and cross-selling revenue.
  • Successful scaling of a demand generation program, demonstrating a strong business case for increased investment.
  • Quantifiable results from paid digital advertising and digital agency management.
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels (SEO, social media, email marketing, website optimization).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot), CRM systems, and lead nurturing.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically.
  • Experience with advertising on Google (AdWords, YouTube, PMax), Meta (Facebook, Instagram), display networks, Bing, and software review sites (G2, Capterra).
  • Strong leadership experience, including hiring and managing small teams.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • HubSpot marketing tools experience or certification.
  • 5-7 years of demand generation experience in a product-led growth SaaS company.
  • Proficiency with popular content management systems.
  • 2 years of team leadership experience.

Work Environment:

  • Fully remote (100%) with 2-4 trips per year.
  • Requires a stable work environment with a dedicated workspace and high-speed internet. Equipment provided.
  • Must be US-based and legally authorized to work full-time in the U.S. No sponsorships available.
