⚙️ About TE Connectivity

At TE, you'll have the chance to grow your skills while collaborating with people from different backgrounds and industries to build a safer, more sustainable, and connected world.

🏭 The Role

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing Engineering Teams are process leaders, particularly in stamping, molding, or assembly. They make sure processes are running smoothly and efficiently to achieve high quality and output. They're experts in mold and die tooling, machining, and assembly, with a deep understanding of related manufacturing processes. This can involve optimizing and standardizing stamping, molding, or assembly processes within the manufacturing environment.

The Manufacturing Engineering Teams help TE business unit plants meet TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) requirements, establish Centers of Excellence (COE), and implement Best Demonstrated Practices (BDP's). They also provide guidance to plants on tool and machine replication, corrections, and improvements. Additionally, they design and develop manufacturing processes and automation platforms to support new product development and optimization of existing products.

They also work alongside Product Development to select and optimize tools for part production and choose the best manufacturing approach based on planned production volumes, quality standards, and manufacturing location. They act as a link between engineering and production to make sure new designs are easy to manufacture and production ramps up smoothly. They also assist research and development teams in creating sample manufacturing equipment, product samples, and prototypes.
