🍽️ Server - Onsite (Palmela, Portugal)
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with guests. You'll be responsible for providing excellent service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is top-notch.
About the Role:
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- Set tables according to event type and service standards
- Answer questions about menu selections
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- Record transactions in the MICROS system
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and/or beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc.
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
- Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
