This opportunity for an Engineer | Structural (m/f/d) is within our Aeronautics team.

🚀 What You'll Do

  • Develop tools and methodologies to aid the structural analysis process.
  • Carry out calculations and validation steps for parts and products under given load conditions.
  • Prepare and create FEM models based on CAD designs.
  • Conduct thorough post-processing and reporting of analysis results to identify potential issues and suggest solutions.
  • Recognize potential problems and propose solutions or improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or solve issues.
  • Provide your manager with requested information for planning, executing, or monitoring technical activities, such as:
    • Defining activity plans and tracking project tasks.
    • Providing work estimates and predictions.
    • Determining the most suitable analysis method for each situation (analytical, numerical, combined, static, etc.).
    • Communicating potential issues, deviations, and needs.
  • Help with testing and certification campaigns.
  • Contribute to the development of project reports and any other important certification materials.

🔍 What We're Looking For

  • Education: A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in structural sizing and/or component/product approval.
  • Software Proficiency: Prior experience using Hyperworks, Ansys, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar tools.
  • Programming Skills: Strong skills in C++, Python, and VBA.
  • Materials Knowledge: Solid understanding of materials and production techniques.
  • Nice-to-Have: Hands-on experience with CAD software like CATIA or Siemens NX.
  • Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse team on challenging projects that require analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
