Responsibilities
- Produce new business sales revenue from a Software as a Service license model.
- Accomplish this through account planning, territory planning, researching prospects, using business development strategies, and doing field-based sales activities within a defined set of prospects, territory, or vertical.
- Develop relationships with multiple C-suite people, such as CFO, CIO, COO, and CDO, across all product sales.
- Oversee client relationship mapping to the account team.
- Direct an account strategy across a broad virtual team, including Solutions Consultants, Solutions Specialists, Success resources, Partners, and Marketing.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business and advising on how ServiceNow can help their IT roadmap.
- Identify the correct specialist or support resources to bring into a deal at the right time.
Requirements
- 7+ years of sales experience within a software or solutions sales organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Experience establishing trusted relationships with current and prospective clients and other teams.
- Ability to produce new business, negotiate deals, and maintain good C-Level relationships.
- Experience achieving sales targets.
- The ability to understand the bigger picture and our plans regarding IT.
- Experience using or thinking critically about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven ideas, or exploring AI's possible effect on the function or industry.
- Experience promoting a customer success focus in a "win as a team" environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Must be located in the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas region (TOLA).
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Oil and Gas industry experience is highly preferred.
