Position Summary
To keep up with our growth, we are looking for an active and results-focused person to join our team as an Account Executive. As the main person driving new business for our On Location SaaS solutions, the Account Executive will play a key part in growing our client base. This job needs an active and determined approach to finding and going after new chances in the market.
Responsibilities
- Actively look for and find potential clients who can gain from our @Work solutions. Use different ways like cold calling, networking events, and online places to find leads.
- Drive the whole sales process by focusing on top prospects, finding solutions, doing software demonstrations, negotiating, and closing.
- Keep up-to-date about industry changes, what competitors are doing, and what the market demands. Give regular updates to internal teams to make product development and marketing plans better.
- Work to find and understand a client or prospect's most important business needs and how they fit with MRI's solutions and services.
- Develop and use strategic sales plans to actively find and sell new chances.
- Handle the contract process and simple sales negotiations.
- Develop and use combined sales plans with other business units on chances they share.
- Send in standard sales numbers like forecasts, pipeline, funnel, business plans, and other reports as needed, on time.
- Watch and judge the activities and products of the competition.
- Go past the assigned yearly sales goal.
- All other tasks and responsibilities given.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of sales experience in business products or services and managing a territory or client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience selling software and/or knowledge of the Real Estate industry is needed, along with the ability to network within that industry.
- Knowledge of products, software pricing methods, selling skills, personal computers, and various software application skills is helpful.
- A proven history of closing new business over a long time, going past sales goals, and the ability to show software to potential users.
- A focus on marketing with the ability to develop strong marketing plans to get ahead of the competition.
- Excellent understanding of the end user's business and issues, or the ability to apply knowledge from other areas to the Real Estate Industry.
- Ability to push past being told "no" to get results.
- Proven knowledge of computer systems, including web technologies, CRM, employee self-service, and a general understanding of larger business system applications.
- Planning skills to decide on and meet department goals.
- Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and give powerful presentations.
- Excellent skills in managing time, communication, making decisions, working with people, presenting, and organizing.
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced setting with many high-level priorities.
