The Role

CyCognito is looking for a driven Enterprise Account Executive to lead sales efforts across the NYC Metro region. Reporting to the SVP, Global Sales and Partnerships, you will partner with leading enterprises to uncover and secure their external attack surface using CyCognito’s market-leading platform. This is a strategic, high-impact role that combines deep cybersecurity knowledge with enterprise sales excellence to drive significant business growth.

The Opportunity

  • Own your region: Develop and execute a regional strategy that consistently delivers a 4x pipeline relative to quota.
  • Drive measurable outcomes: Operate with urgency, accountability, and a focus on activity and conversion metrics.
  • Build partnerships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with security and IT vendors, channel partners, and alliance ecosystems to speed up influence and revenue.
  • Execute with precision: Use value-based selling methods, like MEDDPIC or similar, to match customer business outcomes with CyCognito’s value.
  • Maintain operational excellence: Make sure Salesforce and Clari records are clean with accurate forecasting, clear next steps, and MEDDPIC criteria. Provide consistent and useful updates through Chatter and deal reviews. Deliver quarterly and monthly territory reviews with clear strategic reasoning.
  • Maintain Total Customer Retention by securing renewals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 to 7 or more years of success in closing enterprise Software as a Service or cybersecurity sales roles, with consistent quota attainment.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals within large enterprises.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT and security environments, including solutions like endpoint protection, vulnerability management, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Active Directory, firewalls, cloud platforms, and Software as a Service.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute regional Go-to-Market strategies with internal and external teams.
  • Located in the New York City Metro area (easy trip into the city).

  • Self-starter with exceptional discipline in pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth cybersecurity environment.

  • Strategic thinker who adapts quickly and thrives in dynamic, evolving markets.
  • Travel requirement of approximately 50% regionally and 5 to 10% nationally for conferences.
