🤔 What You'll Do:

Customer Service Expert: Provide compassionate, clear, and committed support to customers during the claims process. Lead with empathy.

Investigator: Independently investigate auto claims, reviewing damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.

Effective Communicator: Use various methods (phone, email, video chat) to keep customers informed and efficiently address their needs.

Negotiator: Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, and third parties, adhering to legal and business standards. Handle complex situations effectively.

Problem Solver: Utilize various tools (estimating software, job aids, settlement platforms) and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Recorder: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all claim activities within our claims system. Protect the company financially by adhering to policies and agreements.
- Write estimates directly at customer homes, repair shops, or tow yards. This includes repairable estimates, total loss assessments, and virtual inspections.
✅ What You'll Need:

Required: 18+ months experience in auto collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell. Valid driver's license. Willingness to travel within Staten Island.

Preferred: Active Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License (Sign-on bonus eligibility).
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfort with technology and various claims processing platforms.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
💰 Perks & Benefits:
- Competitive salary ($52,260 - $92,790 annually, based on experience).
- Company car (based on mileage guidelines; mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use until guidelines are met).

📍 Location & Other Details:
- Onsite position in Staten Island, NY. Requires travel within Staten Island.
- May require 1-week of training in Wheeling, IL.
- Licensing requirements may apply (adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire; support provided).
