The Role 👨‍🔧

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be a key player in introducing Phillips Hybrid's cutting-edge additive and CNC systems to clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and integrating hybrid additive systems into customer facilities.
• Providing expert programming and manufacturing guidance to clients.
• Delivering exceptional service and support, exceeding customer expectations.
• Conducting technical training sessions for small groups, both on-site and at the machine.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Collaborating with a high-performing team dedicated to transforming manufacturing.
• Regular travel (50-80%) within the region, including frequent trips to Rock Island, IL.

What We're Looking For 💪

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic skills.
• Experience setting up and operating machine tools; Haas experience is a plus.
• Additive or welding experience is helpful but not required.
• A passion for continuous learning and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Legal Residency is required.

Preferred Experience 👍

While not mandatory, experience with additive manufacturing or welding would be beneficial.

Location & Work Arrangement 🌎

This is a hybrid position based in Chicago, Illinois, with significant travel (50-80%) within the region, including regular trips to Rock Island, IL.
