The Role 👨‍🔧

What You'll Do:

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment (like self-checkout systems) within your assigned territory.
• Handle maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and system overhauls.
• Act as a first line of response to customer issues, communicating openly and helpfully to find solutions.
• Triage customer issues and proactively address potential problems.

What We're Looking For:

• Required:
  • Local to New Orleans, LA.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license meeting NCR VOYIX fleet requirements.
  • PC skills, basic electronic skills, and some hardware/OS familiarity.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness for prolonged travel (several hours of driving daily).
  • Flexibility for rotating shifts (including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and some holidays).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted, 150 lbs. with assistance.
  • Physical stamina for bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
• Preferred:
  • Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
  • A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification.
  • One or more years of related experience.
