Field Service Technician - Toner Production Equipment (Level 3)

The Role 🛠️

As a Field Service Technician specializing in toner production equipment, you'll be a key player in ensuring our clients' success. This is a remote position, ideally based in or near Charleston, SC.

What You'll Do:

• Provide on-site support, installations, and repairs to customers across North America.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex service issues.
• Collaborate effectively with the Technical Service Manager, Regional Service Manager, and Technical Phone Support team.
• Build strong customer relationships.
• Conduct pre-installation assessments and site inspections.
• Submit timely service reports and paperwork.
• Manage parts returns.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks.
• Participate in training classes (domestic and international).
• Work weekends and overtime as needed for installations, service calls, and training.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other technicians.
• Conduct technical training for colleagues.
• Assist sales with demos and customer visits.
• Monitor critical accounts and provide support for quick problem resolution.
• Communicate technical issues to management and support teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need 💼

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate's degree in electronics or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of field service experience with toner-based production equipment.
• Strong electronics and mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency in computer operating systems and hardware.
• Valid driver's license (Real ID compliant) and passport.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
